musagi is a tool to create music thanks to which you can make songs in MIDI format (like from old-school video games) with practically no prior knowledge of the subject.

All you need to unleash your inner musician is the ability to carry a tune as well as a little bit of patience, because the interface, despite seeming a bit overwhelming at the start due to its sober look, is in fact quite convenient and easy to handle. Plus inside the Documentation folder there's a full tutorial to answer any remaining questions you might have.

Alongside the program you'll also download a series of really good songs created by the developer – these are super useful for learning the MIDI technique. Not only can you modify them to see exactly how each tool works, but you can also use them as the basis for your own songs.
